Bonjour! Enchantée, I'm Jenny!

I grew up in sunny Southern California, spent many years in the rainy Pacific Northwest region of the US, and now I live in France!

I worked for over 10 years as an editor, copywriter, and creative director—half of those as a freelancer, giving me the freedom to take on only the types of projects that interested me the most, and to learn new skills beyond those traditionally broached by a writer. I was fortunate enough to work for brands of all sizes, from the smallest startups to the world's most well known, like Disney, Walmart, and Nespresso. 

In 2025, I took a huge leap of faith and left my creative career behind to go back to school—in France! I'd spent years teaching myself French and always wanted to live here, and I felt like there was so much more I wanted to do for brands that I couldn't do as a creative—most notably, I found I always had ideas for products and brand extensions. So I wanted to upskill to enter into the product development side of marketing.

So now I'm completing my MSc in International Marketing and Business Development at SKEMA. I've brought all my knowledge of the creative side of advertising and marketing (360 campaigns, concepting and ideation, social/digital/email campaigns, web/UX, brand identity, etc.) and merged it with the strategic and analytical side of marketing—market/competitive analysis, data/KPI analysis, research, retail, digital marketing/advertising tools and analysis (Meta, Google, etc.), CRM, SEA/SEO, etc.

It's a hybrid profile you're unlikely to find elsewhere. I'd ideally love to find a product or brand manager role in beauty/skincare, but I'm open to any interesting role that feels like the right fit.
